UPDATE, 9:25 p.m. | Police say the man has been found and arrested.
ORIGINAL POST | Seattle police are searching for a man who flipped a Cadillac then took off running from King County deputies this afternoon, leaving an injured woman behind in the vehicle.
Around 4 p.m., the man rolled his car near the corner of 44 Avenue South and South Cloverdale Street. It’s unclear what caused the crash, said Seattle police spokesman Patrick Michaud.
The deputies ran after the man but lost him in a neighborhood near the 4700 block of Renton Avenue South. Several witnesses called 911 in the area reporting seeing a man covered in blood.
Michaud said the passenger was also bloodied from the crash, but he didn’t know the extent of her injuries.
