A man’s car was stolen at gunpoint Monday night in the parking lot at Golden Gardens Park, police said.
The victim told police he was standing at his car, digging in his pockets for his car keys around 11:20 p.m. when four men walked up behind him. One of the men asked to use the victim’s cell phone, but the victim refused, police said.
One of the four men then struck the victim on the head and pulled out a gun, police said. The armed man demanded the victim’s wallet, keys, and cell phone, according to police.
The suspects drove off in the victim’s 2008 Honda Accord, police said.
