Bellevue police say no one was injured this morning when an SUV crashed into a building housing a Montessori school.

Police are trying to determine what prompted the SUV to crash through a wall of a building at 14340 N.E. 21st St., which houses America’s Child Montessori.

“Very lucky the little tykes were out of the room!” Bellevue police tweeted.

Police say a woman was dropping off her two children just after 9 a.m. when she accelerated her Honda CR-V and crashed through an exterior wall. A teacher and a handful of children were in the room at the time, but weren’t near the area where the SUV came through, police said.
