Rainier View home riddled with bullets during party

A home in Seattle’s Rainier View neighborhood was riddled with bullets Monday morning after three men opened fire, according to Seattle police.

The shooting occurred about 1:50 a.m. in the 5300 block of South Hazel Street.

The five adults and several children in the home were not injured, according to a police report.

Police said a woman at the home said she was having a party with friends, when another woman became angry and called her boyfriend to pick her up.

The boyfriend arrived, talked to his girlfriend, then he and his two friends allegedly began shooting at the home, according to police.

Police said they found 23 shell casings in the driveway and  bullet holes outside and inside the house.

The three shooters fled the scene, police said.

Police said one suspect ended up at Harborview Medical Center, where he was being treated for a gunshot wound. It is unclear how he was wounded.

The Renton Police Department arrested another suspect.
