S’more time! State lifts burn ban on campfires in Western Wash.

The Associated Press

OLYMPIA — Thanks to this week’s rain, the state Department of Natural Resources is easing its burn ban a bit.

The department says fires this year have burned about 547 square miles in Washington and cost more than $91 million to fight.
