More than a 1,000 texts, a surveillance video and a bikini photo: Those things may link a suspended Spokane County deputy prosecutor to a convicted felon. The deputy prosecutor could face charges of rendering criminal assistance, however no charges have been filed in the case. Read the details in this Spokesman Review story.

No quake warning system here:  An earthquake early warning alert was heard by some people in California before the Napa Valley quake last weekend, but no such system exists in Washington. Efforts to get one here have fallen flat.
