A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a suspect in connection with 10 Bainbridge Island burglaries, police said.
Jason Michael Lucas, 33, is believed to have been involved with a series of residential burglaries spanning six to eight months, according to the Bainbridge Island Police Department. The majority of the burglaries involved jewelry and firearms thefts.
Lucas is described as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 180 pounds, police said. He has brown hair, blue eyes and a goatee and mustache. He was last known to be driving a gray 1987 Ford pickup truck with Washington license B60138F. He may be armed.
Officials believe Lucas has fled the state to avoid arrest, the department said. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Bainbridge Island Police Department at 206-842-5211.
