TACOMA — A man accused in a series of sex assaults in Tacoma, including the attempted rape of a day-care worker, pleaded guilty Monday to eight felony charges.
The News Tribune reports 19-year-old Andrake Morris faces a term of more than 23 years in prison when he is sentenced Oct. 23 in Pierce County Superior Court.
Morris was arrested in March 2013 after the attack on a worker at a day care just before it opened for the day. Detectives linked him to four other sexually motivated assaults around Tacoma.
