OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK — Searchers are looking for a 64-year-old Bainbridge Island man who is two days overdue from a long hike in Olympic National Park.
Park spokeswoman Barb Maynes said Saturday that Kelly Hall was scheduled to meet family Thursday at the end of a six-day, 39-mile trek in the northeast corner of the park. When he didn’t show up, they reported him missing that night.
The search for Hall began late Friday and continued Saturday. Park employees are walking trails and following Hall’s route.
Hall set out from Obstruction Point Trailhead near Hurricane Ridge on Aug. 30.
