Indecent exposure reported near West Seattle school

Seattle police are looking into whether a man who exposed himself to a girl on the playground at Holy Rosary School in West Seattle is responsible to a string of West Seattle flashings last year.

Police spokesman Drew Fowler said officers were called to the school at 4142 42nd Ave. S.W. around 12:05 p.m. for a report of a man exposing himself to a child. An 11-year-old girl told officers that a man dressed in a blue and yellow shirt was leaning against a silver minivan with his pants down on 41st Avenue Southwest.

When police arrived they couldn’t find the man, Fowler said.

Police investigated several flashings outside West Seattle schools, including outside Holy Rosary, last fall.
