SEQUIM (AP) — The Clallam County sheriff’s office is searching for a 20-year-old man who fled after allegedly stabbing the mother of his child in an alley near Sequim.
The Peninsula Daily News reports that the stabbing happened at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
Authorities say witnesses reported seeing Deeon Emilio Gonzales stabbing the woman in an alley in the Carlsborg area west of Sequim. Witnesses said he fled toward his home near the alley with the baby. The child was found safe at the home.
The baby’s mother was taken to a hospital. Her condition was unknown.
Authorities say Gonzales is armed and dangerous.
