Man stabbed in North Seattle

Update at 11:56 a.m.: Seattle police spokesman Drew Fowler said the stabbing apparently erupted during a fight between two men near the Home Depot store on Aurora Avenue North.

Fowler said the victim’s wounds are believed to be non-life-threatening. He said the assailant may have also been injured in the incident.

Witnesses said the victim may have been on a bicycle.

Original post: Seattle police are investigating a stabbing Tuesday morning in North Seattle.

The victim, a 44-year-old man, suffered multiple stab wounds at 10616 Aurora Ave. N., according to a tweet by the Seattle Fire Department. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center.

Seattle police are looking for the assailant. According to a police tweet, the stabbing happened in the 11600 block of Aurora Avenue North.
