Missing hiker: No clues found in the search for the missing hiker in Olympic National Park. The 64-year-old Bainbridge Island man didn’t turn up last Thursday when his hike was supposed to have ended.
Things aren’t looking good for the once burgeoning Mars Hill Church: It has fallen on hard financial times, and there’s turmoil in the upper ranks. Not to mention membership is down of late. As a result, some branches are consolidating, some are closing, staff is being cut and founder Mark Driscoll has stepped down for six weeks while accusations against him are investigated. The accusations include bullying and verbally abusing many people he oversees behind the scenes, and being evasive in the face of criticism.
