Sunday Memo: Next Windows … Oprah coming … Skunk neighbors

Windows 9? Whoa. Aren’t people still trying to swallow Windows 8? For Microsoft, a lot rides on shoulders of Windows 9

Oprah’s coming to Seattle: She’s bringing her ” The Life You Want Weekend” to the Emerald City as part of an eight-city tour Nov. 7-8 at Key Arena. More details can be found here.

What’s that smell? A family of skunks has been traipsing in front of Mark Hays’ home in Kennewick for some time. And guess what? He’s not happy. The stinkers have been living and breeding in a vacant house across the street for years and he wants something done about it.

Missing hiker: We’re keeping tabs on the search for a Bainbridge Island man missing in Olympic National Park.

Weather: Enjoy today’s 80 degrees and sunshine, because it’s expected to get way cooler and cloudy tomorrow and Tuesday. However, look for sun and higher temperature all the rest of the through Saturday. Yes.
