Hard to question the dedication of these cops.
Seattle police said a woman called around 1:30 p.m. Friday and said she’d found her purse — which had been stolen — posted for sale on Craigslist. The woman said she contacted the seller listed in the ad and arranged to meet her in front of the Krispy Kreme on First Avenue South and South Holgate Street, police said.
Police arrived and found the suspect standing outside the doughnut shop. But when she spotted the officers she took off running inside the Krispy Kreme.
The officers followed the woman into the shop, where they faced the toughest of choices: Original Glazed or criminal suspect.
The officers, to their credit, continued their pursuit.
The cops found the woman hiding in an open shipping container and arrested her. They also returned the victim’s purloined purse.
