Teen wounded in Federal Way shooting

A teenage boy was taken to Seattle’s Haborview Medical Center after a shooting Tuesday night in Federal Way.

The boy was in the 1800 block of South 288th Street around 9:24 p.m. when he was shot, said department spokeswoman Cathy Schrock.

The teen was shot in the shoulder and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

Neighbors told KIRO there was a fight before they heard shots according to police.

No arrests have been made. Schrock said detectives are trying to piece together what happened but that the youth isn’t helping with the investigation
