Tuesday Memo: Threatening messages … Record summer heat! … More school speed cameras

The Queen Anne police shooting: Still waiting for more details on the incident in which two officers shot and killed a man who had been firing a gun from the front of his Queen Anne home Saturday night. We’re now told he sent threatening text messages to his family.
