9-year-old girl struck by car as she crossed street in Everett

A 9-year-old girl was injured while crossing the street in Everett Thursday evening, police said.

Around 7: 45 p.m., the girl and an adult were walking across Pacific Avenue at Pine Street when the girl was struck by a car traveling westbound on Pacific Avenue, according to the Everett Police Department. The girl was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett – Colby Campus.

The driver remained at the scene, police said. The adult with the girl wasn’t injured.

A 7-year-old girl was struck by a car in Rainier Valley on Tuesday night. She remains in serious condition in the intensive care unit at Harborview Medical Center.
