Members of a Safeco Field cleaning crew are accused of stealing more than $11,000 worth of Mariners jerseys from a store kiosk, police said.
Four suspects, who work for a subcontracting company that does post-season cleaning at Safeco Field, allegedly broke into a Mariner’s Store kiosk and stole several jerseys with a retail value of $11,500, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The Seattle Mariners director of security reported the alleged thefts to police on Monday after viewing surveillance video.
The four suspects, who have been identified by the director of security, have not been arrested, police said. The incident is under investigation.
