Couple suing DSHS over adopted son’s acts

A couple who say their adopted son molested their other children is suing the Department of Social and Health Services for failing to disclose information about the boy

A KIRO-TV  report, identifying the couple only by their first names, Trish and Steven, said the couple accuse DSHS of failing to disclose information about problems the boy had been involved in at a previous home.

The couple say they learned from their other children that the 12-year-old boy touched them in an inappropriate manner. The parents’ lawsuit was moved to federal court this week and alleges their social worker and the state failed to inform them of crucial reports about their adopted son.
