A giant, four-day, free health care clinic offering medical, dental and vision services for “people in need” is being held Thursday through Sunday at the Seattle Center.
More than 500 doctors, dentists, optometrists, nurses and other health-care professionals are volunteering, said Deborah Daoust, spokeswoman for the Seattle Center.
She said no ID or proof of citizenship is required for the first-come, first-served event.
Daoust said the goal is to help 1,000 patients daily, with more than 500 eyeglasses produced each day, 60 dental operatories being used and 58 KeyArena suites stocked with X-ray and medical equipment.
There will be free parking at the First Avenue North Garage, and free admission tickets will be distributed at the Northwest Rooms.
Tickets will be distributed beginning at 3:30 a.m. each day, and patient registration begins daily at 5:30 a.m. Daoust expects the event will last until 5:30-6:30 p.m. each day.
