Update at 4:30 p.m.: A house was damaged in a shooting in Seattle’s Beacon Hill neighborhood, police said.
A resident of the house told officers he had walked out after the shooting around 2:40 p.m. and spoke to a man standing in the street, according to the police department. The man in the street told the resident he was the target of the shooting, then ran to a red Chevy truck and fled the scene.
Officers are interviewing witnesses, the police department said.

Police are at the scene of the shooting in the 5100 block of South Avon Street, according to the Seattle Police Department. There have been no reports of injuries or damage.
Traffic may be impacted on Beacon Avenue South as officers investigate, the police department said.
