Shooting threat made at Green River Community College

Update at 12:31 p.m.: Auburn police expect to complete their search of the campus in an hour or so.

So far, the person responsible for the threat has not been found.

Original post: Green River Community College has been placed under lockdown while Auburn police investigate a threat made against the school.

Auburn police said at 10:15 a.m. Monday an unknown person walked onto a campus parking lot and made what was described as a “general threat” to a faculty member about a shooting.

Police say it is believed the person who made the threat then left the campus.

Police were searching the campus.
