Tacoma robbery suspect dies from getaway crash

TACOMA — A bank robbery suspect who crashed while fleeing police in Tacoma has died.

The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office says the man died Tuesday afternoon.

Police say he had robbed at KeyBank branch and was speeding away from officers Tuesday when his car collided with a van at an intersection.

KOMO reports three people in the van also were injured.
