Bicyclist hit by car on Capitol Hill

UPDATE: 10:50 a.m. | The cyclist’s injuries are considered non-life threatening, according to a tweet from the Seattle Fire Department.

ORIGINAL POST | A bicyclist was taken to Harborview Medical Center after being struck by a car on Capitol Hill Monday morning.

Seattle Fire Department Lt. Harold Webb said the bicyclist was struck at 119 Summit Ave E. just after 10 a.m. Seattle police say the bicyclist was unconscious when taken to the hospital.

Police spokesman Drew Fowler said police are speaking with the vehicle driver.
