Original post: Two lanes of westbound Interstate 90 near Eastgate are closed after a collision involving two Washington State Patrol cruisers and a passenger car.
State Patrol spokesman Trooper Chris Webb said troopers were attempting to stop the car just after 9 a.m. and the man refused to stop. It’s unclear why the State Patrol was trying to pull over the driver, he said.
“He eluded a couple of troopers and we did a PIT intervention technique and it worked. A couple of our cars got damaged,” Webb said.
Nobody was hurt.
Traffic is still able to get through in the HOV lane, Webb said.
