MOSCOW, Idaho — Authorities say a man fleeing Moscow police in Idaho, following a traffic stop, crashed and rolled his vehicle when he crossed into Washington state.
The Washington State Patrol took over the pursuit at about 9 p.m. Thursday and said speeds exceeded 100 mph before the crash. Police initially thought the driver had been ejected when he couldn’t be found.
But police say he was spotted moments later running across a field.
The Moscow-Pullman Daily News reports that the man was taken into custody after a short chase.
His name hasn’t been released.
