Man trapped by windstorm debris rescued in North Seattle

Firefighters rescued a man trapped by debris from a windstorm in Seattle’s Bitter Lake neighborhood Thursday afternoon.

The man was trapped in the 12700 block of Dayton Avenue North, according to the Seattle Fire Department. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition with no visible injuries.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the Seattle area until 6 p.m.
