Police identify shooting victims in Portland suburb

The Associated Press

SHERWOOD, Ore. — Police have identified the three people shot at a home in the Portland suburb of Sherwood, two of whom were found dead.

The Police Department said 42-year-old Tonya Davis died of multiple gunshot wounds, and 46-year-old James Paul died of a self-inflicted gunshot.

Police said Davis’ sister, 43-year-old Tina Flock, was recovering from her wounds at a local hospital.

The police said Davis and Paul rented the house together and were in a dispute.

Flock escaped to a neighboring house early Thursday, and police were summoned.

Police tried for several hours to make contact with the couple inside before a SWAT team broke down a back fence and entered the home.
