A public memorial for Frank Inslee, a well-known Seattle educator, school counselor and coach, will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Golden Gardens Bathhouse, 8498 Seaview Place N. in Seattle.
Inslee, who died Oct. 13 at the age of 88, was the father of Gov. Jay Inslee.
He was a fourth-generation Washingtonian, a Navy veteran, a biology teacher, high-school coach, counselor and the Seattle Public Schools athletic director. In 1977, he was named state athletic director of the year.
