Some Aurora Ave. lanes west of Lake Union closed Tues-Fri

One lane in both directions of Aurora Avenue in Seattle’s Westlake neighborhood will be closed Tuesday through Friday while crews perform emergency sewer repair between Ward and Comstock streets.

Motorists should expect construction delays and use alternate routes when possible, SPU said.

The inside northbound and southbound lanes lanes of Aurora Avenue, in that area, will close at 9 a.m. Tuesday and reopen at 5 p.m. Friday, according to Seattle Public Utilities. Crews will perform an emergency repair to remove debris and clear a blocked sewer line.
