Tonasket librarian re-arrested in sex case

The Associated Press

OKANOGAN — A woman accused of having sex with an 18-year-old Tonasket High School student when she worked as school librarian was arrested again Sunday for contacting the young man.

Elizabeth Kinkade is accused of violating a no-contact order.

The Wenatchee World reports the man, now 19, called deputies to report Kinkade had been assaulted by her husband Saturday night and was now with him.

Okanogan County Undersheriff Joe Somday says that violated an order issued after Kinkade’s arrest in May when she was charged with sexual misconduct and fired. The 37-year-old avoided a jail sentence last month with a plea bargain and was sentenced to nine months on electronic home monitoring.

Her husband Mark Kinkade also was arrested over the weekend for investigation of domestic violence assault.
