The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will return to Seattle in 2015 and 2016 for the annual Seafair Air Show, Seafair announced Tuesday.

The Blue Angels will fly over Lake Washington as a featured performer during both years’ Seafair Weekends, according to an announcement made at the International Council of Air Shows convention in Las Vegas. Seafair Weekends will be July 31-Aug. 2, 2015, and Aug. 5-7, 2016.

A longtime feature of Seafair, the Blue Angels team was grounded in 2013 because of budget issues and replaced by the Patriots Jet Team. The Blue Angels flew at Seafair again this year.
