Driver fleeing police kills pedestrian in Vancouver, Wash.

VANCOUVER, Wash. — A car fleeing from police struck and killed a woman late Monday morning in Vancouver.

The Columbian reports the driver was arrested at the scene. Police say he may have been impaired

The driver was suspected of an earlier hit-and-run accident in Portland, The Columbian reported.
