Expect rain through Wednesday, but dry skies for Christmas Day

Rain and warmer temperatures should be with us until Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Expect patchy fog Monday morning with a high near 49. Lows will be in the lower 40s.

Christmas Day looks to be mostly cloudy with a high temp of about 45. The record high for Christmas was 60 back in 1980. Record low? The NWS recorded 24 degrees in 1995.

If you’re heading over the mountains, the Department of Transportation reports Snoqualmie and Blewett passes are both bare and wet with no restrictions.

Stevens Pass reports compact snow, slush and ice on the roadway. Traction tires are advised and oversize vehicles are prohibited.
