HERMISTON, Ore. — Federal marshals have captured a man in Eastern Oregon who was sought in a shooting last week in Washington state.
The East Oregonian reports that 32-year-old Tyree Q. Houfmuse was taken into custody Monday at an apartment complex in Hermiston.
Houfmuse was wanted in the shooting of 29-year-old Anthony L. Asselin during a Thanksgiving eve argument outside a Kennewick tavern.
Officials reported him in critical condition but say he is expected to recover.
