A 38-year-old man suspected of stabbing and robbing a woman in Belltown earlier this month was arrested Tuesday night, Seattle police said.
The victim ran into a business near Fourth Ave and Lenora Street around 4:30 p.m. Dec. 2 and told employees she had just been robbed and stabbed, police said.
Employees called 911 and the 31-year-old woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police couldn’t locate a suspect at the time.
Detectives tracked down surveillance video of the suspect who is also an acquaintance of the victim, police said.
West Precinct officers spotted the man Tuesday night in downtown Seattle and arrested him. He was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of robbery.
