Man with throat cut found in Seattle’s International District

A 49-year-old man was found with his throat cut Friday evening in Seattle’s Chinatown International District.

He was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Seattle police responded to several 911 calls just after 5 p.m. and found the man in the 600 block of South King Street bleeding from the neck.

Officers then followed a trail of blood for almost 10 blocks to Seventh Avenue South and South Jackson Street, but the cause of the man’s injuries is still under investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call 206-233-5000.
