Officer shoots at fleeing suspect in Centralia

CENTRALIA — A police officer fired at least one shot at a man who fled from Centralia Municipal Court in downtown Centralia.

The Chronicle reports the man broke free and ran from court Tuesday morning when an officer attempted to put him into handcuffs.

He ran to a car. The officer fired as he was driving away. Police are still searching for the man.
