Oregon bus barber accused of cutting again

The Associated Press

PORTLAND — Authorities say the man known as the “TriMet barber” has cut again.

Oregon City police booked 27-year-old Jared Walter into jail Tuesday on charges of harassment and parole violation. They said he cut a woman’s hair with scissors in the checkout line at a Dollar Tree store.

Sgt. Matthew Paschall says Walter did not have the scissors when officers arrested him near the store.

Walter got his nickname in 2010 when he was arrested for cutting large clumps of hair from three women on Portland-area buses.

He was sentenced to prison. Shortly after his release, he was accused of ejaculating into the hair of bus passengers. He pleaded guilty to lewd behavior charges and served time in jail.
