Oregon police investigating death of child in Seaside

The Associated Press

SEASIDE, Ore. — Authorities are investigating the death of a young child in Seaside, Ore.

The Oregonian reports the death was called into 9-1-1 early Saturday and police are releasing little information about what happened, including the child’s name and age.

The state Department of Human Services has taken custody of other children found in the home, but no arrests have been made.

Police say the autopsy result might be released Monday.
