Package thief waited on Enumclaw porch for boxes

The Associated Press

ENUMCLAW— Package thieves who steal deliveries from front porches are bad enough, but a theft last week in Enumclaw was especially brazen.

KCPQ reports the thief walked up the driveway before a UPS truck pulled up to the home. He waited on the porch and took the packages directly from the driver.

Troy Hall says his wife was at home at the time, but the driver believed it was safe to leave the packages with the man at the front door.

Police are investigating.
