UPDATE, 4:45 p.m. | Searchers continue to look for the missing fisherman in Blackmans Lake in Snohomish County.

ORIGINAL POST | A dive team and a helicopter from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are combing through Blackmans Lake for a 38-year old fisherman reported missing Sunday morning, the agency said.

The search was launched early Sunday after relatives of the Lake Forest Park man called 911. The sheriff’s office said the man was last seen on Saturday by another fisherman at the lake as we has inflating a blue kayak in the parking lot.

Authorities at the scene say there’s a partially sunken inflatable blue kayak in the lake.

Blackmans Lake, a popular fishing destination, has an average depth of 14.1 feet, according to Snohomish County.
