Thousands lose power in South Seattle and Burien

Update, 11:30 a.m.: Seattle City Light says the outage is now down to 230 customers without power.

Original post: About 9,700 customers in South Seattle and Burien were without power Saturday morning, according to Seattle City Light.

The outages started at about 10 a.m. and the cause is still under investigation.

No estimate on restoration time is available.
