ORIGINAL POST | It’s only 6 a.m., but rain and wet roads are already causing commuting “challenges.”

A collision on eastbound I-90 just east of the Mercer Lid has multiple lanes blocked, according to tweets from the Washington State Department of Transportation. Traffic is backed up two miles already.

On the Highway 522 westbound off-ramp to Highway 9, there is a collision partially blocking the ramp.

An accident on northbound Highway 167 earlier this morning has been cleared, but traffic is slow coming into I-405.

The rain is expected to continue through Thursday.
