Traffic messy all over Seattle area

UPDATED, 9:40 a.m. | Lynnwood to Seattle is now 75 minutes (50 HOV, 65 express).  Renton to Bellevue is 40 minutes, SeaTac to Seattle is 45 minutes and Seattle to Bellevue is 25 minutes on either bridge, according to a WSDOT tweet.

ORIGINAL POST | Traffic is bad all over the Seattle area with the southbound commute on I-5 particularly bad, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation. Everett to Seattle is up to 150 minutes.

There hasn’t been any major collisions, but there were several between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. and the ripple effect caused slowdowns all over, said Mike Allende, spokesman for WSDOT.

The slowdown on southbound I-5 starts at Mountlake Terrace and continues all the way into the city.

Redmond to Seattle is up to 50 minutes.
