A woman was stabbed in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood Tuesday afternoon, police said.
The 31-year-old woman reported that she had been stabbed in the back near Fourth Avenue and Lenora Street shortly after 3 p.m., Seattle Police Department spokesman Patrick Michaud said. She was taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
The suspect, a man in his late 30s, fled, Michaud said. Officers are checking surveillance video in the area.
