Woman struck and killed on highway at Milton

The Associated Press

A woman walking in a roadway was struck and killed Monday night in Milton.

Witnesses told police the woman was singing as she walked with her back to traffic on Pacific Highway East.

Sgt. Russ Hume tells KING the driver of a minivan didn’t see the pedestrian in the poorly lit areas.

The woman didn’t carry any identification and officials are working to identify her.
