2 men arrested after North Seattle drive-by robbery

Two men were arrested after they allegedly pulled a gun on a man, stole his iPad and then crashed their getaway car in North Seattle on Friday afternoon, police said.

The alleged victim flagged down officers near North 85th Street and Aurora Avenue North shortly before 3:30 p.m. and reported that several men in a white Acura had pulled up to him and brandished a gun before driving away with his iPad, according to the Seattle Police Department. Officers located the Acura and attempted to pull it over, but the suspects fled.

Officers caught up to the suspects a few minutes later after they had crashed the car into several parked cars at North 103rd Street and Densmore Avenue North, police said. Two suspects were arrested at the scene. Robbery detectives are investigating the incident. Officers are investigating whether any other suspects fled after the crash.
