The Associated Press and staff reports

Four flights were diverted from Sea-Tac Airport Tuesday night due to fog.

Airport spokesman Perry Cooper told KCPQ  it was an airline decision and other flights landed normally.

Dense fog is expected to stay in the area through about 10 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service forecast. We should see some clearing later in the day and partly sunny skies with a high around 50.

United Airlines said two of its flights were diverted to nearby Boeing Field in Seattle: Flight 371 from Chicago and Flight 407 from Denver. The airline says it provided ground transportation for them to Sea-Tac.

United Flight 539 from Houston diverted to San Francisco. The airline says it provided overnight hotel rooms.

Air Canada Flight 541 from Toronto also diverted to Boeing Field.

Check the Sea-Tac website or your airlines for flight information.
